Fractured Space Developer Edge Case Games Secures Seasun Games investment to open up Asian Market

£1.75m Investment by Seasun Games and Mercia Technologies will expand global reach of the tactical space MOBA Fractured Space
Guildford, United Kingdom – 05 November 2015 - Edge Case Games, the developer of the tactical space MOBA Fractured Space, today announced it has received a total combined funding of £1.75m from the Chinese games and software company Seasun Games and Midlands-based Mercia Technologies, a premier investor in UK technology. For Mercia Technologies it was the second tranche of a £1.5m investment into Edge Case Games; Seasun Games invested £1m.

The strategic relationship with Seasun Games, and the opportunity to expand into Asia with their support is a game changer for us.” Fractured Space is a tactical space MOBA that was launched on Steam’s “Early Access” platform in November 2014 to critical and commercial success. The launch generated 400,000 users in its first five months and the team is now working towards a full commercial launch in early 2016.
